Terms and Conditions

The general terms and conditions apply to every stay at Hotel Drie Eiken (BE 0874619603), unless otherwise agreed upon in writing and confirmed by letter or email by Hotel Drie Eiken. By staying at Hotel Drie Eiken, guests declare their agreement with these Terms and Conditions.

 

Article 1.

 

Hotel Guests

  • Services and rates are determined at the hotel's discretion, which reserves the right to make changes.
  • Prices are based on your stay dates and may change if arrival or departure dates are adjusted.
  • Prices are in euros.
  • The price is per room.  

Article 2.

 

Check-in

  • From 3:00 PM.
  • If arriving after 8:30 PM, please inform Hotel Drie Eiken to ensure your room reservation is retained.
  • A valid ID card or passport is required upon check-in.
  • Guests must provide a credit card at check-in, which Hotel Drie Eiken will record. Debit or credit cards will be authorized for the full amount of the stay plus an amount to cover potential additional expenses. Guests paying in cash must settle the invoice upon arrival and provide a deposit of at least €100. If the guest fails to pay within the agreed timeframe or uses facilities (e.g., bar, restaurant, etc.) not reported at check-out, the hotel reserves the right to charge these costs to the credit card.

 

Article 3.

 

Check-out

  • From 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
  • Late check-out after 11:00 AM may incur an additional fee.

 

Article 4.

 

Cancellation Policy for Direct Bookings up to 6 Rooms

  • Depends on the selected rate: best available rate or non-refundable rate.
  • Payment must be made by 8:30 PM on the day of arrival.
  • Credit card or deposit required as a guarantee.
  • Changed plans? For cancellations or modifications made after 11:00 AM on the day of arrival, or in case of a no-show, the full booking amount will be charged.

 

Cancellation Policy for Direct Group Bookings of 6 or More Rooms

  • Depends on the selected rate and your quote.
  • In case of a no-show, the full amount will be charged.

 

Cancellation Policy for Non-Refundable Bookings

  • This booking is fully prepaid. In case of cancellation, modification, or no-show, the amount cannot be refunded.

 

Article 5.

 

At the end of the stay, the final balance will be drawn up, and the guest commits to paying the invoice amount at check-out unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment can be made in cash or via Payconic, Visa, Bancontact, or Mastercard unless otherwise agreed. Invoices are subject to adjustments for any costs and/or services not yet charged. Disputes must be submitted in writing to the credit management department within the same timeframe to be valid. For any amount unpaid 30 days after the invoice date, the hotel will automatically apply a fixed compensation fee of €40, potentially increased by default interest, in addition to a €10 administrative fee for payments made after 30 days and another €15 for payments after 60 days. To be valid, any protest must be submitted within 30 days.  

Article 6.

 

Any complaints regarding the stay and/or invoice should, where possible, be reported by the guest during their stay at Hotel Drie Eiken to allow the hotel to address the issue immediately. If the complaint could not be resolved during the stay, it must be submitted in writing to Hotel Drie Eiken, Drie Eikenstraat 655, 2650 Edegem, within three days of check-out.  

Article 7.

 

Hotel Drie Eiken is not liable for the loss of property or for damage or theft of personal belongings such as luggage, glasses, watches, cars, etc. Guests are at all times personally responsible for their belongings. Any damage caused by the guest to the property or facilities of Hotel Drie Eiken, or to third parties with whom the hotel has a relationship, must be reported as soon as possible. The damage must be paid for by the guest without dispute, no later than their departure.

 

Article 8.

 

Hotel Drie Eiken reserves the right to cancel reservations up to two months before the planned arrival date. In such cases, all deposits will be refunded.

 

Article 9.

 

Any disputes fall exclusively under the jurisdiction of the Court of First Instance of Antwerp, Antwerp division, or the Justice of the Peace of the Seventh Canton of Antwerp, depending on the amount.

 

Article 10.

 

Hotel Drie Eiken is entirely smoke-free.

 

Article 11.

 

Pets are not allowed.
